Statement Of Intent
Statement
of Intent
In my
statement of intent, I will obey and follow the rules set in place around my
posters making sure they are not too graphic for a younger audience that may be
seeing this. One example of something not too do especially in a crime
documentary is add dead bodies and lot of blood that is very bad for children
so keeping the violence lower on the posters and meeting the specific target
audience. I am in the middle with what I hope to do not having to graphic but
more over 16s so I will be able show them on different channels or over 10 pm on
TV.
In my
posters I am aiming to make a crime documentary, so will have a detective but
not in your stereotypical clothing more undercover they will be represented in
a positive way searching for the criminal and their weapon, so you know that
they are good and not a criminal. Then I have a criminal in more darker
clothing with a bag to show they have been stealing and carrying stolen goods
they are presented in a negative way to show how they are bad.
I will be creating
my poster with calmer posters and towards the end tensions build. I want to
have a darker more dull colour scheme to suggest that its not nice what’s been
happening in my documentary. I am planning to have short and catchy taglines
that may humour the audience, also the fonts will try and be abstract but
making sure they are relevant to the documentary. I will make sure when
designing and making the posters I take into consideration who my main target
audience is so the posters are interesting and entertaining to keep the hooked
and want to watch the documentary. The audience I have chosen is the most
popular Tv documentary audience this means that I hope to have a presold audience
and it will do when it releases.
